  Mazar-e-Sharif

     import lines are  25MW installed capacity and 21 MW operating capacity . The Diesel generators  are  89 granted  by NSP  office with the total capacity of 6.1MW and operational capacity of 6.1.

there  is a fertilizer company with 4 units and each units  producing  12MW totally.  Currently  it only generates 18 MW which is  used for factory and  for the residential area of there employees.

                                                                                                                                  

Old Substation Mazar-i-Sharif

An 8 MVA capacity substation is functioning with burnt switchgear and controls. Estimated cost for rehabilitation is US$30,000. Substation, Balkh. A 2 MVA capacity substation is operating but requires servicing.

 

New Substation, Mazar-i-Sharif

This 2x16 MVA, 110 kV substation was Constructed to utilize imported electricity from Uzbekistan and or Turkmenistan. The station is functioning and requires servicing and spare fuses and relays etc. ADB is financing the extension of this to a 2x50 MVA, 22011 10 kV substation.
